Orange Wedding

This Wedding was a lot of fun to work on. My hands became really sticky very fast after slicing a bunch of oranges. We also had to add the oranges to the arrangements the day of the wedding set-up because if the oranges were left over night with the flowers, the flowers could die.

Here are some arrangements that I helped with.

I also got to help with "Tuxedo" ribboning some of the bouquets and even the bride's bouquet.

Pink Wedding

On June 6, 2009, I had the opportunity to help out with this particualr wedding. Since it was Wednesday, Robert, the manager from the Main store, was filling in for Mark's day off. I was able to help out a lot and I felt like Robert really showed me his way of design.

Robert first had me tape and wire spray roses for a couple of flower crowns for the wedding.

Robert also let me make the Toss Bouquet. As he was making the Bride's Bouquet, I was making the Toss Bouquet to kind of follow his foot-steps. This is how my Bouquet turned out.

Wedding Flowers Workshop

In our Wedding Flowers Workshop each girl were given different flowers. So you could either be happy with your flowers or not, either way you had to make it work. I was given yellow roses, white statice and orchids. In the end I was really happy for what I came up with. My wedding bouquet was then displayed in the Flower Event Show.
